Hello Everyone!
My name is Mrs. Murray, and this is my third year at Lewis Palmer School District teaching first grade! I have taught for a total of 7 years in the Colorado Springs area. I am loving first grade! I think it's so rewarding to see a child learning, growing, and having fun. Seeing a child get excited about learning and experiencing new things is a true gift. I received my BA from the University of Northern Colorado in Speech Communication with an Emphasis in Elementary Education, and my MA is from University of Colorado in School Counseling. I have been certified to teach in Colorado for 8 years. My husband, 6 month old daughter, and I call Monument our home, and we absolutely love our community. I love reading, shopping, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends! Come take a journey with us where we learn and grow each day! Welcome to first grade!
